Nobody planned for NUSTAR to be a thing. It just kind of happened the way real things do.
Freshman year, 2019. A group of five kids found out their school had a music studio just sitting there after hours and figured why not. They called themselves Dentes Country. Honestly it was more fun than anything serious — they were being lazy, goofing around, and it never really went anywhere. But it planted something.
That same year Nate and Wyolkens linked up. Two people who just clicked on music, simple as that. From the jump they both knew they wanted to cook together at some point.
Dentes Country fell apart but Nate kept going. Tried it again with a group called Troubled Youth — same story. Then Origins came together with a different crew but same energy. Then COVID happened and killed the momentum before it could even breathe.
Fast forward to 2023. Wyolkens was on a college campus, stumbled on a music studio, and immediately thought of Nate. Not for any strategic reason — just because that's his boy and Nate loves music more than anybody he knows. Nate had moved away sophomore year but they stayed in touch the whole time. The call got made, Nate was in, and they locked in.
No engineer. No real plan. They booked sessions anyway thinking they'd figure it out on the fly. They didn't figure it out. Nobody came through to help. Nothing got recorded. But even after all that neither of them walked away from the idea.
2024 Nate put out a solo instrumental project under WACKO PROPHET called THE PARTY ENDED AN HOUR AGO. Just beats, no features, no lyrics. That college studio thing never worked out but this did, and it kicked something off for real.
2025. Six years from that first after school session. Nate still had the same vision he always had. Wyolkens said enough doing it alone, let's actually lock in. They found a spot called Dumblit through a random search, booked real sessions, and got to work.
Getting the album together wasn't smooth. They needed female vocalists and both of them were reaching out to everyone they knew. Three women came through. One of them confirmed she was in and then just ghosted Nate out of nowhere. You honestly can't write that. But the ones who actually showed up delivered, and the album got finished.
First single New Egypt dropped October 3rd, 2025. The full album LAFAYETTE came October 24th, 2025.
UNISEX is next, dropping July 2026. That's the one where everything they built finally gets to speak for itself. And they're just getting started.

Progressive. I'm always looking for a new sound, a new way to explore and flush out concepts in a satisfying way. That's what keeps me going — especially when it comes to producing. I love this shit.
Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, Childish Gambino. KAYTRANADA is my favorite and most recent influence — shout out to him. And of course the greats: Neptunes, Nas, Wu-Tang, and 2Pac — he's the reason I started music in the first place.
Vulnerable and free. Goosebumps when you hear those glittery chords, the punchy bass, the swift drums. I want people to feel authenticity — but also reality.
I don't just strive for originality — I advocate for preserving the past and learning from it. I truly feel like a hip hop historian. Over 50 years of influence guides me into the future.
That I'm multimedia. Music isn't my only passion — I love to direct and write. I can't wait to show that side of me. It's honestly the most passionate thing I hold.
Jersey born and raised. I always moved around, especially through middle and high school. Those experiences shaped who I am — as much as it affected me, I learned to appreciate it. Plus Jersey needs more representation. On God.

21, Ocean Township NJ. He's not in this for a title or to say he manages an artist. Nate is genuinely his boy and when you see someone that talented going for it you either show up or you don't. Wyolkens showed up.
They met in high school and he just thought Nate was cool, that's literally it. Years later he found a studio on a college campus and the first person that came to mind was Nate. No grand strategy behind it, just knew Nate loved music more than anyone and deserved a real shot at it. That call changed everything.
He checks in on the progress, keeps the business side moving, and makes sure there's actually a plan behind the music. Hardest part of the job? Sometimes you don't agree with how things go and you gotta let the artist do it their way anyway. That's just how it is. Learning to sit with that is what being a real manager actually looks like.
Big anime guy — One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Trigun, grew up on all of it. He also makes his own music under W.Y.O, nothing too serious, just for the love of it. End goal is bigger than any of that though. When NUSTAR makes it the whole point is to take care of family, look out for the people who were there from the jump, and just keep making music that actually means something. The Grammy is coming. That's not a hope, that's a plan.
